ACOLIN appoints Dr. Franz Graf von Schwerin as new Head of Legal and Viktor Fischer as new Head of Business Development

ACOLIN Europe AG has appointed Dr. Franz Graf von Schwerin as Head of Legal, effective 1 September, 2020. He will also be joining the ACOLIN Group’s Executive Committee. Viktor Fischer, who has been Head of Legal since 2014, will continue to grow the company’s global business as Head of Business Development.

Dr. Franz Graf von Schwerin has over 20 years of experience in fund distribution, private banking as well as in the asset management industry in Germany. His most recent position was with Berenberg, Hamburg-based privately owned bank, where he acted as Head of Legal for Asset Management and Wealth Management since 2003. Prior to that he held various senior positions in the finance industry in Frankfurt am Main. He holds a Doctor degree in Law from Hamburg University. From ACOLIN’s Frankfurt office, he will lead the international legal counsel and global fund registration teams consisting of seven people in Constance.

As the new Head of Business Development, Viktor Fischer will be responsible for growing the ACOLIN’s business globally. He will lead the company’s teams responsible for client acquisition, marketing and communications. Viktor Fischer has more than 20 years of experience in the fund and banking industry. He joined ACOLIN in 2014 and has held various leadership positions within the ACOLIN Group, most recently as Head Legal and Compliance. He is a member of ACOLIN’s Group Executive Board. Previously, he worked for UBS Asset Management, most recently as Head of Business Development EMEA, Fund Services. He holds a degree in international law from the University of Constance.
